Our Story

Our story started when I decided to expand my family, at home I already had Peanut a Miniature Pinscher(who at the time was 14) and Luke an American bulldog mix (4 Years old). With me being a dog trainer I wanted a dog of my own. My responsiblity, something I can watch grow and I can train. I was searching every day looking for the perfect dog. I planned on buying a dog who was smart, driven, an all around good quality dog. I knew I wanted a male, when contacting breeders I was denied because of Luke being a male American Bulldog. All along I was looking in the wrong places.

I occasionally would volunteer at a nearby rescue called No More Pain. They rescue dogs from all over the world, no matter the breed. I saw Wrangler's picture before I even started looking and I thought he was adorable! He and his brother were rescues from Puerto Rico, they were on their way to a shelter to be killed along with his other siblings. An angel named Nilsa did what she could do and was able to save only 2 of the puppies. Wrangler and his brother Thanos were the lucky ones.

This is the first time I ever saw him posted on No More Pain Rescues Instagram

This picture was taken at his first vet visit in New York!

Erica the owner of the rescue told me I could take him home for a "sleepover" but she knew what she was doing.

That same day he had a collar and ID tag with his name, Wrangler.

The next day August 1st we took our first walk together and thats how I knew I made the right choice. The wait was worth it. We were so in tune with eachother. He kept checking on me, as I were him. Once we started training I saw Wrangler's potential, he would conquer anything I put infront of him. From easy to more complex behaviors even agility, he is fearless!

We have been on so many adventures together big and small! From bringing him to work to long car rides to experience new adventures.

My last day as a volunteer, was July 29th 2019, the day I met him. Once I saw him I fell head over heels, he was such an adorable, scared pup! At a whopping 16 lbs floppy ears and wonky tail Wrangler stole my heart. He was immune to my puppy talk. He knew he had me wrapped around his paw. I would walk around the rescue and he followed me every step I took, id turn around and he would walk away. Silly boy if only he knew we would start our life together that very day.

I want him to experience the world and live his life to the fullest! Trust me its not over, its just the beginning!

I want Wrangler to be with me as long as possible. I started researching nutrition, something your veterinarian always stresses. A healthy diet makes a healthy dog, but as I started diving deeper nutrition is so much more then that! Nutrition effects their behavior, energy level and so many other factors. I created this website to help, inform and educate pet owners.

I hope to help you and your pet one way or another.

Dog Training, and Nutrition it all comes full circle.
